What I think about homosexuals

Whelp.  This was going to come up sooner or later.  I was going to post it eventually.  Now works, I guess.
For compleatly incidental reasons, I came accross this blog post I'm christian, unless you're gay.  Made me think a bit.  Reminded me of this I had posted as a facebook note some time ago.  So, here it is.

Today I saw someone with butter on their croissant...

Today I saw someone with butter on their croissant.  WTH?  Who puts butter on their croissant?  That's like putting butter on your butter.

Hello Woild!

Hello world!

This is my second real blog post. The first one was "Idea"

Protip: You can backpost in blogger with the "Schedule" option. Just schedule it for sometime in the past, and away you go!

Idea: audio project

So, crazy idea for an audio project. Probably best described by attempting to give examples, even though there's nothing to it yet.

Featuring the voices of:

  • Twilight Sparkle, of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
  • Raven, of Teen Titans

Featuring audio clips from:

  • My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
  • Dexter's Laboratory
  • Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
  • PowerPuff Girls

Inspired in large part by this video:

The Brave Little Toaster

Whelp. That was fairly short.
The only word I really have to apply to this story is "beloved". I don't see why, though. The movie, sure, I could see that. But not the book. Although, it did help explain some half-remembered scenes from the movie.
Rating: Out of ten stars, four and a half. Five, tops.

In the Forrests of Serre

Not bad, I guess. Not really my thing.
It's a well-developed setting. On the other hand, it moved too slowly overall for my tastes. It did pick up after about, mm, a quarter of the way through, so don't judge based on that.
Some good twists. I could accurately say that there were several I was not expecting, but I wasn't 'expecting' any one way or another for most of the book.
Rating: Out of ten stars, I'd say about five point nine.

Tim turns out to be a romance novel. I suspected that would prove to be the case when I first picked it up, but it took me by surprise. Pretty good read, actually. Even one or two decent twists. It's not 'my thing', but it's still fairly good. Just not my genre.
Rating: Six of ten. I'm not sure what the bottom five stars are for?...

More to come. Now I just need %$@! posted.

Today was a day for AWESOME!

Today is/has been a day for awesome. I got involved in something with the potential to be big, but first, I'm gonna harp on the Culture of Integrity graduation event.

Mad greets to my bros David and Bryan, and my Hannahs Ruth and Ruttles. They graduated from our youth group's "Culture of Integrity" program tonight. They had to do a lot of hard but awesome stuff to pull this off, and they earned it. It really made me realize that badassery is actually made up of lots of small, almost-normal-but-not-quite things.

And, they got awesome swords to sweeten the deal! W00t w00t!

So, my big thing: Fellow in a subreddit I hang out in started talking about a charity notion he had. One of the things he wanted/needed was is website design. I offer to take a whack at it, despite never having done such a thing before.

He decided to take me up on it.

So now, I am slightly-more-than-three-quarters-seriously committed to looking around and trying my hand at creating a website. I actually think this is a good thing. It gives me something productive to work on, and I could really use the 'get out', even if it's a purely virtual get out.

The charity idea is approximately half-baked, but other than that this is going to be, as I said, AWESOME.

Late-night idiocy and other entertaining shortness

Why the [yay] am I up so late? It makes no sense.

Also, even though I have to admit he does seem to have some good points here, Marilyn Manson is a freaking weirdo.

DAE — Youtube comments

I just spent far too much time reading through a youtube argument spanning a great many comments. What am I doing with my life?

I Love this shiz!

Was reading the rant from the latest Megatokyo update. First paragraph, I notice the use of "Pony". (Oh heh... I probably ought to explain that a little. Topic for another post.)
I find it absolutely awesome when I notice stuff like this. We're everywhere, man!

...However, just now it is quarter to two in the morning and I really ought to be asleep.

Contact, Investment, and my 'Introversion'

You remember that "Five Love Languages" test thing from a while back? (You blogmates won't, I'll dig up make that a link for you before posting.) I was just now looking at my results. I got a ten on quality time (out of thirty possible points total). For those who don't know, this means I relate ("speak love", if you will) the best through spending time with people.

Those of you who know me will find this surprising to hilarious. As you know, I'm not much of "get out there" kind of person. I'm more of a "sit at home, read a book" kind of person. That said, this post exists because I got to thinking... maybe those are related? I'm more interested in investing some time in something.

I dunno, made me think. That's just how I roll.
